UrbanShoeShop - end-to-end e-commerce storefront

UrbanShoeShop - end-to-end e-commerce storefront

Description

Most e-commerce UI projects stop at the product listing page. UrbanShoeShop doesn't. It's a complete, end-to-end shopping experience: you land on the store, search and filter for shoes, log in, add items to your cart, and pay , through a real Razorpay integration. Every step of the actual user journey is built and functional. The product search is fast and the filtering is intuitive. The cart persists your selections. The checkout flow is clean and doesn't ask for information it doesn't need. The payment goes through. That completeness was the point , not to demonstrate that a nice-looking product page is possible, but to prove that an entire commerce flow, from discovery to payment, can be built with a small footprint and a sharp interface.

Problem Statement

E-commerce UI is commonly treated as a design exercise , pretty product cards, a fake cart, a checkout button that goes nowhere. That's not a product. Real commerce is about trust and friction: can the user find what they want, feel confident buying it, and complete the purchase without second-guessing? That full arc is rarely built in portfolio work.

Solution

Build the whole thing. Real authentication, real cart logic, real payment processing via Razorpay. The UI had to earn the transaction , so every interaction, from product hover to payment confirmation, was designed with conversion and trust in mind.

Next up

Looking for early feedback from small retail businesses or indie brands who need a lightweight storefront without the Shopify overhead. Planning to open-source the core as a starter template. Next features include order history, wishlists, and an admin panel for inventory management.
